Aeromexico Checked Baggage Policy

The dimensions of the checked baggage should be 38 cm x 70 cm x 50 cm. The maximum surface of the baggage should be under 158 cm/ 62 inches. The Aeromexico baggage weight of the checked baggage should not exceed 25 kg per passenger. 

Aeromexico Carry-on Baggage and Personal Item Policy

The combined weight of the carry-on baggage and the personal item should not exceed the weight limit of 10 kg (22 lb) for Basic Fare. For the Classic, AM Plus, and Clase Premier fares on flights within Mexico the weight should be approx 15 kg (33 lb). For all the fares on international flights, the weight limit is 10 kg (22 lb).  

The dimensions of the baggage with or without wheels should not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm (21.5 x 15.7 x 10 inches). 

Special Item

There are some items that cannot be checked as carry-on baggage or checked baggage like hockey sticks, sky diving equipment, Musical Instruments, Electronic Cigarettes, Ashes (human and animal), etc. All these items will be carried in special baggage.

For Sports Items

If you are traveling with sports items such as surf equipment, Hunting Equipment, Skydiving Equipment, Ice Hockey Equipment, etc, then the weight of the item should be under 32 kg / 70 lb.

The maximum length of these items should be under 204 cm / 80 inches in a narrow cabin and 294 cm / 115 inches in a wide cabin.  

For Musical Instruments

The maximum linear surface of the musical instruments should not exceed 1.15 m / 3.77 ft (length + width + height).

Aeromexico Aircraft offers various methods to make the payment for baggage. You can either pay online via net banking service or make payment via cash at the airport. Details are given below-

Online

If you have made your reservation through Aeromexico’s call center, you can make your payment through a credit card, debit card, PayPal, Electronic voucher (EMD), or Uplift. Using the Uplift method can give you the benefit of making the payment for the travel 24 hours prior to the flight time.
