Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the ‘Airlines Assistant’ website (“Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you don’t agree with any part of these terms and conditions, please don’t use the Site. We may change these terms and conditions at any time, and any changes will be effective immediately. If you continue to use the Site after changes have been made, it means you accept the new terms. Please check this page occasionally to review any updates.

1. Booking and Payment:

  • Passengers must provide accurate personal information, including full name, contact details, and any necessary travel documents.

Bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until full payment is received.

  • Payment can be made through various acceptable methods such as credit/debit cards, online payment platforms, or bank transfers.

A reservation is not complete until confirmed/ticketed. To protect our customers, we verify with the credit/debit card company that the billing address and credit card verification number you provided to us is accurate and that your debit/charge will be accepted. Until such information is verified, the fare is subject to change.

We are not responsible for any transaction that is declined based upon a credit/debit card that is declined by the issuing company or a travel provider or if, for any reason, the debit/credit card billing address and/or credit card verification number cannot be verified in a timely manner, nor are we responsible for any changes in fare or any other charges that may occur during our verification process.

In the event the fare selected is not available an approval code may have been issued on your credit card. If the transaction is not completed the approval code may temporarily credit the amount from your bank account.

If your itinerary involves an ultimate destination or stops in a country other than the country of departure, the provisions of a treaty known as the “Warsaw Convention” may be applicable to your entire trip, including any portion entirely within the country of origin or destination. The Warsaw Convention governs and may limit the liability of certain air carriers for death of or personal injury to passengers and/or loss of or damage to baggage.

2. Fare Conditions:

  • The fares offered by your agency are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Fares do not include additional fees such as taxes, baggage fees, or service charges unless explicitly mentioned.
  • Passengers are responsible for checking and understanding the fare conditions, including any restrictions or penalties related to changes or cancellations.

3. Flight Schedules:

  • Flight schedules are subject to change by the airline or other circumstances beyond the agency’s control.
  • The agency will make reasonable efforts to inform passengers of any schedule changes or disruptions.
  • Passengers are advised to reconfirm their flight details closer to the departure date.

4. Baggage:

  • Baggage allowances and restrictions vary by airline and fare class. Passengers are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the baggage policies of the operating airline.
  • Any additional baggage fees or charges are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid directly to the airline.

5. Changes and Cancellations:

  • Changes or cancellations to bookings may be subject to fees or penalties imposed by the airline and/or the agency.
  • The agency will assist passengers with change or cancellation requests to the best of their ability, subject to the rules and policies of the airline.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the fare rules and may be subject to administrative fees.

6. Travel Documents and Visa Requirements:
Passengers are responsible for obtaining and carrying all required travel documents, including passports, visas, or other entry permits. The agency is not responsible for any consequences resulting from the passenger’s failure to comply with immigration or visa requirements.

7. Multiple Airline Itineraries
If your itinerary includes flights operated by more than one airline, please read carefully each such airline’s terms and conditions, which can be found on each such airline’s website. Each such airline will have its own restrictions, rules, and fees.

If one of these flights is affected by an airline change (e.g. cancellation or rescheduling) that causes a Customer to make changes to the other flight, the Customer may be responsible for any fees or ticket costs incurred for making changes to the unaffected flight. Such airlines may charge their own fees for changes, refunds, or if exchanges are requested.

You are responsible for complying with each airline’s terms and conditions, which may differ (for example, check-in times and limits on baggage size/weight). It is advisable you print your outbound and return portions of your e-ticket confirmation for all flights prior to traveling. You may be asked for proof of your return ticket at check-in.

8. Travel Insurance:
Passengers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen events, including trip cancellations, delays, or medical emergencies. The agency may offer travel insurance options, but it is the passenger’s responsibility to review the coverage and make an informed decision.

9. Liability:
The agency acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and does not assume liability for any acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, or other issues caused by the airline or other service providers.

The agency’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable federal and state laws.

10. Data Protection:
The agency will handle and protect passengers’ personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU residents.
